Chef Jean Alexandre Galmar
Chef Jean Alexandre Galmar is a leading chef in Reunion Island, where he was born. This French territory, slightly east of Madagascar, is famous for its colourful local cuisine, that draws upon the culinary wisdom of it's French, African and Asian cultural influences. This rich culinary heritage provided Jean Alexandre with both the passion and the skills to become one of Reunion Island's leading culinary players, working in some of Reunion Island's top restaurants. In addition to his great domestic success, he has also been invited to share his craft abroad, running restaurant kitchens in China, France and the Seychelles Islands. Jean Alexandre is currently the executive Chef of the restaurant Au Cherry in St Denis.
